Adam Bethlenfalvy
Adam Bethlenfalvy is a Hungarian teacher trainer certified by the ACAδIMIA European Teacher Trainer Academy in Drama in Education. With over 25 years of experience in teaching, teacher education and educational theatre, he specialises in creative and inclusive pedagogies. He is Associate Professor at Károli Gáspár University, directing its postgraduate programme in Drama in Education, leads the Centre for Drama Education at Apor Vilmos Catholic College, and serves as CEO of InSite Drama. He holds a PhD in Drama in Education from Birmingham City University and a habilitation in Education from the University of Pécs. His international work includes teacher-training workshops, accredited professional development programmes and Erasmus+ projects. He delivers training in English and Hungarian, combining practical drama methodologies with reflective teaching, curriculum design and participatory learning.
Ifigenia Georgiadou
Ifigenia Georgiadou is a teacher trainer certified by the ACAδIMIA European Teacher Trainer Academy and Director of the Hellenic Culture Centre and the Iphigenia Centre for Hellenic Studies. She has over 30 years of experience in education and has taught Greek as a foreign language since 1979. She holds an MA in Education and Human Rights from the Universities of Athens and London and is a certified EUROLTA Master Trainer and assessor of adult educators. Author of five books on teaching Greek, she coordinates European educational projects and delivers teacher training in Greek and English. Her expertise encompasses language teaching methodology, intercultural and human rights education, creative learning, drama in education, gamification and game-based learning. Her work promotes inclusive, participatory learning through face-to-face, online and blended approaches.
Aikaterini Dretaki
Aikaterini (Katerina) Dretaki is a teacher trainer certified by the ACAδIMIA European Teacher Trainer Academy, with 30 years of teaching experience and over 15 years of involvement in European educational projects. She teaches English at the General Lyceum of Magoula, Greece, and coordinates school programmes and evaluation activities. She holds a BA in English and Greek Literature from the University of Athens, an MSc in Information Society, Media and Technology from Panteion University, and a British Council teacher-training certificate. Her expertise combines language education, arts-based learning, digital and media literacy, intercultural dialogue and active citizenship. As an Erasmus+ project coordinator, she facilitates professional development and collaborative learning initiatives. She delivers training in Greek and English in Drama in Education, EAR, Gamification and Strengths-Based Learning, promoting creativity, inclusion, critical thinking and learner autonomy.
Kostas Diamantis-Balaskas
Kostas Diamantis-Balaskas is a Project Manager at ACTION SYNERGY S.A. and a Certified Teacher Trainer accredited by the ACAδIMIA European Teacher Trainer Academy. He has worked at Action Synergy since 2006, coordinating European education and training projects across Erasmus+, Creative Europe, and other EU programmes. He holds a BA in Communication and Media from Panteion University, Greece and an MSc in European Politics and Governance from the London School of Economics. With experience in more than 100 transnational projects, he specialises in teacher training, media literacy, non-formal education, social inclusion, and innovative learning through the arts. As an international trainer and conference speaker, he develops educational methodologies, training materials, and collaborative learning initiatives that strengthen inclusive and creative education across Europe.
Panagiota Souridi
Panagiota Souridi is a philologist, teacher trainer, and adult educator with extensive experience in intercultural education, innovative pedagogy, and teacher professional development. She holds postgraduate degrees in Teaching Modern Greek as a Second/Foreign Language and Educational Leadership. As an ACADIMIA Teacher Trainer, she has coordinated teacher-training programmes in collaboration with School Advisors, delivered professional development workshops on ACADIMIA methodologies, and mentored future educators through partnerships with the University of Athens. She has successfully integrated ACADIMIA’s creative and inclusive educational practices into her teaching, receiving highly positive feedback from students and support staff. Beyond ACADIMIA, she serves as an eTwinning trainer, coordinates educational activities within the UNESCO ASPnet and Sustainable School Network, and regularly contributes to conferences, European projects, and teacher training initiatives, promoting innovation, inclusion, active citizenship, and lifelong learning in education.
Sarah Kennedy-Berge
Sarah Kennedy-Berge is a Certified Teacher Trainer accredited by the ACAδIMIA European Teacher Trainer Academy, Montessori educator, author, and educational consultant with over a decade of international experience in teacher education and school leadership. She holds a Master of Education, multiple MACTE-certified Montessori credentials, and has trained educators across Europe through the European Montessori College and Waterpark Montessori International. Her expertise includes Montessori pedagogy, curriculum development, creativity, educational technology, and professional development for teachers and school leaders. She is the author and co-author of several educational books, including Montessori in the Digital Age and the Our Wondrous World series. Through training, writing, and consulting, she helps educators create innovative, child-centred, and future-ready learning environments.
Anastasia Balaska
Anastasia Balaska is President and Director of ACTION SYNERGY S.A. and a Certified Teacher Trainer accredited by the ACAδIMIA European Teacher Trainer Academy. With decades of experience in education, teacher training, and European cooperation, she has led the design and coordination of numerous Erasmus+, Comenius, Grundtvig, Leonardo, and other EU-funded initiatives. She holds degrees in Greek and English Literature, postgraduate studies in Education, and a DEA in Psychology and Educational Sciences from the University of Bordeaux II. Formerly a secondary school teacher, she specialises in innovative and inclusive learning, transnational teacher training, and the development of European education networks. As Director of Education and Training at Action Synergy, she has played a leading role in coordinating ACAδIMIA, one of Europe’s Teacher Academies for Creative and Inclusive Learning.
Kyriaki–Corinna Pertsinidou
Kyriaki–Corinna Pertsinidou is a teacher trainer certified by the ACAδIMIA European Teacher Trainer Academy and Coordinator of Extracurricular Activities and Networks at the Directorate of Secondary Education of East Attica, Greece. She has 30 years of teaching experience, including six years as a school principal. She studied Informatics at the Athens University of Economics and Business and holds a postgraduate degree in International and European Studies in Education, Training and Research from the University of Piraeus, alongside a qualification in Pedagogical Studies. An accredited mediator specialising in school mediation and a Teachers4Europe Ambassador, she promotes creative, inclusive and participatory education. Her training expertise includes EAR, Drama in Education, Creative STEAM, Digital Storytelling, Gamification for Fun and Strength-Based Learning. She delivers training in Greek and supports teachers in developing interdisciplinary, learner-centred classroom practices.
Kalliopi Mathioudaki
Kalliopi Mathioudaki is a teacher trainer certified by the ACAδIMIA European Teacher Trainer Academy, with 35 years of educational experience. She teaches Greek language, literature and history at the 2nd High School of Glyka Nera, Greece. She holds a PhD in Classical Studies and an MSc in Rhetoric from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her expertise combines rhetorical education, Freinet pedagogy, theatrical techniques and democratic, inclusive learning. She has trained teachers through the Institute of Educational Policy’s pilot programmes in Freinet pedagogy and organised workshops, conferences and rhetorical activities for students and adults. Her ACAδIMIA training areas include EAR, Drama in Education, Strength-Based Learning and Talent Maker. She delivers training in Greek, supporting critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and social-emotional development. Her publications and conference presentations explore rhetoric, literature and innovative educational practices.
Konstantina Aidona
Konstantina Aidona is an experienced language teacher and teacher trainer with more than 30 years of experience in education, teacher development, and creative pedagogy. She studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed postgraduate studies in Education and Human Rights through the joint programme of the University of Athens and the University of London. She has delivered teacher-training workshops since 2009, working with educators from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds across Europe. Her areas of expertise include Modern and Ancient Greek language, literature, creative writing, Drama in Education, human rights education, and experiential learning. As an ACADIMIA Teacher Trainer, she is accredited to deliver training in the EAR Methodology, Creative Learning, and Drama in Education. Her workshops combine dialogue, theatrical practices, and participatory methods to promote critical thinking, inclusion, creativity, and meaningful professional learning for teachers.
Nicholas Kamtsis
Nicholas Kamtsis is a Certified Teacher Trainer accredited by the ACAδIMIA European Teacher Trainer Academy in the methodologies of Creative Learning and Creative STEM. An education researcher, theatre director, and founder of the Centre of Higher Education in Theatre Studies (Kentro Spoudon Laikou Theatrou), he has over 24 years of experience in teacher education, mentoring, and European educational projects. He has trained primary and secondary school teachers through theatre-based, experiential, and inclusive pedagogies that promote creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. As an internationally recognised theatre practitioner, he has designed and delivered workshops, seminars, and webinars in Greece and across Europe, helping educators transform classrooms into active, participatory learning environments through innovative arts-based teaching approaches.
