INSITE DRAMA OKTATASI, KULTURALIS ES SZOLGALTATO

La visión de InSite es facilitar el afrontamiento de los problemas más acuciantes de nuestro tiempo a través del teatro y posibilitar cambios en la comprensión de los individuos respecto a sus valores y posturas; de modo que sean capaces de actuar responsablemente en la sociedad y convertirse en agentes activos del cambio. El trabajo de la organización afecta principalmente al grupo de edad de jóvenes y niños, directa o indirectamente. Para lograr un mayor impacto social, también trabajamos con los responsables de la toma de decisiones, las comunidades y las instituciones de educación superior. La organización trabaja a nivel internacional, principalmente en Europa, pero conectando con profesionales de todo el mundo. El trabajo de la organización se basa en el teatro en la educación y el drama en las prácticas educativas pioneras en el Reino Unido, creando posibilidades de compromiso dramático donde los participantes pueden cuestionar sus valores culturales recibidos y sus prejuicios a través de situaciones, y dar sentido a los acontecimientos libremente para formar sus propios valores en relación con los problemas bajo escrutinio. Los valores fundamentales que subyacen a la labor de la organización son la conciencia de los objetivos en la ejecución de los proyectos, el compromiso responsable con las dinámicas de las distintas comunidades, la evaluación exhaustiva de todos los procesos y un enfoque polifacético del asunto en cuestión.

Presentation at the International Conference "Theater and Inclusive Education"

Presentation of ACADIMIA – “ACADIMIA-European Teachers’ Academy for Creative and Inclusive Learning” at the International Conference “Theatre and Inclusive Education” of the “Panhellenic Network for Theatre in Education” with emphasis on the EAR methodology, which utilizes the Dialectical Method of Socrates and Forum Theatre, Documentary Theatre and other forms of theatre, in order to develop critical thinking on human rights issues.

Training of educators of 2nd High School of Gerakas -Drama in Education

The teachers carried out the activities included in the Drama in Education with enthusiasm and creative imagination. The warm-up was done with the frozen frames, followed by the thought tracking. After setting the narrative context with King Minos, the Minotaur and the sacrifice of the Athenian youth, they created a poster with their thoughts as residents of Knossos. They played the "hot seat" activity with King Minos, they created a moving montage with two groups, where one was the choir and the other performed the dramatization of the young Athenians and finally, as youth of Knossos, they improvised when the king asked them to follow the procession of the Athenian youth who would be offered as a sacrifice to the Minotaur. Afterwards, the teachers reflected on how they could integrate these techniques into their teaching subjects.
