The Online Training of Trainers just finished!

In the first year of the ACADIMIA project, the main aim of the activities was to train internally the members of the academy in the 10 methodologies that constitute the core of the project and to prepare the resources and materials for the training activities that will start from the beginning of the second year.

The internal training of the members of the Academy started with the creation of a Synopsis of all the methods. In this synopsis there are included elements such as: brief description of the method, target age of students, innovative elements, evidence of impact, examples of classroom implementation etc. The internal training was organized in a blended format. At the beginning, all people involved in the partnership (from Greece, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Iceland, Norway) have participated in a 20-hour online training, 2 hours introduction to every method. The relevant experts were the trainers, the materials and Manuals used were included in the relevant projects’ websites. (started on 13/9/2023, ended on 11/10/2023)

They played the "hot seat" activity with King Minos, they created a moving montage with two groups, where one was the choir and the other performed the dramatization of the young Athenians and finally, as youth of Knossos, they improvised when the king asked them to follow the procession of the Athenian youth who would be offered as a sacrifice to the Minotaur. Afterwards, the teachers reflected on how they could integrate these techniques into their teaching subjects.
